Will AI write all your texts in the future?

Will AI write all your texts in the future?
Made together with Midjourney

I have a clear answer for you!

Yes, AI can write your texts, but most of the time they will sound too general and lack your personal voice and experience.

It reminds me of when I was in primary school and got a calculator for maths.

It could calculate everything, but for me it was important to understand the mathematical principles and know when and how to use the calculator.

To this day, I still like to take out a piece of paper and calculate things, mainly in my business.

In the same way, there will always be a need for people who can:

  1. Develop the right prompts - The quality of AI-generated texts depends enormously on the prompt. Mastering this is a valuable skill.
  2. Edit and improve AI output - AI rarely delivers perfect results on the first try. Being able to assess and improve the output remains a human competence.
  3. Add the human angle – Authenticity, personal experience and cultural context are areas where humans still have a clear advantage.
  4. Take responsibility for content – With AI-generated texts, responsibility for fact-checking and ethical considerations becomes even more important.

People who learn to work effectively with AI tools – rather than being replaced by them – will have a huge competitive advantage.

So AI will not replace you 100% in your writing, billing and other tasks.

You are still the one who thinks up a strategy and gets AI to help you.

Last week, I used AI to help me write a sales letter, but it was only after I edited it myself and added personal customer stories that the text actually worked.

AI gave me a good starting point, but the human touch made all the difference.

So give it a try and remember that this is a conversation you are having with your digital assistant, so you can ask for a new draft until you are satisfied.

Happy writing!
